This is a free and open Mastodon instance ran by @ian.
We're one of the largest and most active Mastodon instances around, and we're quickly growing as a community. We are also federating with many of the other major instances. If you have questions about how this works or how to create your own instance, feel free to reach out.
If you see any abusive behavior, please report it. Each report is reviewed personally. Please treat each other with respect.
This instance is hosted on three servers: Two load balanced web servers and database server. They each have the following specifications:
- 4 core Xeon 2.13GHz CPU
- 8GB RAM
- SSD storage
Hosting costs are being covered by myself currently. If we need to upgrade servers in the future, I may post a link to help cover costs.
